The Sklar Graves Vaginal Speculum is a gynecological instrument used for performing pelvic examinations, Pap Smears, and examining the cervix. It is a double blade duckbill speculum inserted with the blades closed. The blades are then opened by an external lever and screw. The Graves Speculum has wider blades than the Pederson Speculum and the practitioner can best determine which type and size speculum is most appropriate for the patient. This product is a large sized speculum with 4-1/2 in. X 1-3/8 in. blades.

They are commonly used in procedures where gradual dilation of the cervix is necessary and are available in multiple sizes, graduated 5mm each, to suit the needs of the patient. They are most frequently used in Dilation & Curretage and hysterectomy procedures. This product is the smallest Hank dilator, American scale size 25/26 (12.5mm/13mm.) It has an overall length of 10-3/4 inches.
